<p>You are not alone if you feel as if your stomach is a little too large or a bit too flabby.  One way to help you to create the appearance of a sexier tummy is by wearing a total body shaper.  Full body shapers are designed to help you look better from head to toe.  The full body shapers are used to make certain that flattening bulges in one area of your body will not force the flab to show up in another area.  This is the perfect way to have a flat looking tummy.</p>
<p>Many body shaping camisoles are also designed to flatten your tummy.  They can help to smooth out any extra bumps and bulges so that you can feel confident in any outfit.  Some shapewear camisoles are also designed to be used as a way to smooth out any fat on your back.  Some body shaping camisoles include a cupless bra for added convenience.</p>

<p>You can make your top half look thinner and more toned.  You simply need to take the time to shop around for products that are designed to improve the appearance of your tummy, back and/or arms.</p>

<p>It seems like most of us have those moments when we feel it is time for a diet.  You might be someone who is a healthy weight but still likes to tone up and lose a couple extra pounds when it is time for a special occasion or when the weather is warm enough to wear shorts and swimsuits.  You might be someone who is a little overweight but not much.  Or you might be a person who does need to lose weight and keep it off to improve your health.  No matter which category you fall into, you need to diet the smart and healthy way.</p>
<p>It might be tempting to pop a few diet pills to help you lose weight.  Think about these potential pitfalls before you start a diet pill regimen.   First, diet pills are not necessarily safe.   Many diet pills are marketed as being all natural.  However, this does not equate to being safe.  Even natural ingredients can cause side effects and drug interactions.  Diet pills are not an overly safe way to lose weight.  Secondly, most diet pills do not work.  You will be spending money on products that do not bring about results.</p>
<p>Do not diet by starving yourself.  This is unhealthy and not very effective.  It might be tempting to eat very little in order to cut your calorie intake and lose weight.  This attempt for dropping pounds will not work the way you think.  Your body will eventually enter into starvation mode and what few nutrients you eat, will be stored rather than burned for energy.  Your metabolism will slow down, actually making it harder to burn calories and lose weight.  It is not safe to limit your food intake drastically.  You can get dehydrated and become deficient in nutrients your body needs.  If you do not eat much you are not likely to feel very energetic or healthy.</p>
<p>You should not diet just for the sake of losing weight.  You should not change your eating habits just long enough to lose weight or for the sole purpose of losing weight.  You need to change your dietary habits in order to remain healthy and to decrease your chances of many diseases that are associated with being overweight.</p>
<p>Counting calories or counting food points might help you lose a few pounds.  In the long run, it will not be very effective.  If you return to your old eating habits, you will gain weight again and you will be at risk for health problems once more.  It is important to learn how to eat well.  Learn what to eat and why you should eat those foods.  If you simply cut calories to lose weight, you will not know how to stay healthy.</p>
<p>Make lifestyle changes rather than short-term dieting changes.  Become committed to making healthy choices at all times.  Consult with a dietician or even your physician for advice on how many calories you should eat each day and the type of foods you should eat.  Learn the food pyramid so that you can plan menus on the healthy side of things.  Focus on eating smaller portions and limiting the amount of unhealthy foods you eat.  If you do these things for life, you can maintain a healthy weight.</p>
<p>Work hard to always be active rather than living a sedentary life.  You do not need to love the gym or to be athletic to lose weight and to maintain a healthy body shape and tone.  Even 30 minutes of exercise, a few times a week will help you to drop pounds and achieve a healthy body.  You can lift weights, use free weights or even just tension ropes for strength training.  You can walk, jog, swim, play sports and participate in any number of physical activities for exercise.  Do not join a gym and then never attend and do not exercise only every now and then.</p>
<p>You should not “diet” but rather should work hard to live a healthy lifestyle.  Do research and talk to medical professionals and fitness experts so that you know how to eat well and remain active for good health.  This is the best way to get in shape and to stay that way rather than always having your weight go up and down.</p>

<p>You can work towards having a great shape naturally even in the cold and dreary winter months.  Jogging over icy sidewalks and roadways is probably not your idea of a good time.  Going for walks when it feels as if it is zero degrees out is not likely to motivate you to exercise.  You might not even feel like bundling up and heading out in the cold in order to go to the gym.  Fortunately, you do not need to do any of those things in order to stay in shape.</p>
<p>Set up your own aerobics class in your family room.  Follow along to a hip new aerobics video or enjoy some of the classics (Like Dancing to the Oldies).  Scan your TV guide in order to find listings of aerobics shows on television.  Don’t forget to add some jump roping, jogging in place and jumping jacks.</p>
<p>Invest in one of the stepper tools.  These handy exercise items look like one or two steps.   You will lose weight and tone hip and thigh muscles as you step up and down.  Add an extra skip to your step or some other moves.  You can also use the bottom steps on your staircase for this simple exercise.  Turn up your favorite music as you step your way to a toner body.</p>
<p>Dance, dance and dance.  If you watch Dancing With the Stars, you will see that many of the dancers have a transformation before your very eyes.  You do not need to be a candidate on the show to lose weight while having a good time dancing.  Dance along to your favorite music video or the radio.  Ask your kids or spouse to dance with you as well.</p>
<p>Purchase some resistance bands or dumbbell sets in order to tone your body.  You do not need heavy weights to get into shape.  Many weight sets include a chart with sample exercises.  Additionally, you can find exercises online or in exercise manuals at local health and fitness stores.</p>
<p>Buy an exercise ball.  An exercise ball provides a safe way for you to exercise without stress and strain to your body.  Purchase an exercise video or follow the exercises listed in the instructions.  Create your own exercise styles as well.</p>
<p>Consider investing in a treadmill.  You can walk, jog or even run on your treadmill.  Start slow and gradually create inclines.  Walk or jog for short distances at first until you have enough stamina to remain on the treadmill for one half hour or more.  You can walk or jog while listening to music or even watching your favorite television show.</p>
<p>Find your perfect shape through healthy eating as well.  Cut down on the number of times you eat out or the amount of fast foods you eat.  Cook home cooked meals whenever possible rather than processed and unnatural foods.  Limit the amount of fatty foods or those high in sugars or cholesterol that you eat.</p>
<p>Healthy living and a great shape is possible even in the wintertime.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.shapewear360.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/12.gif"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-56" style="margin: 8px;" title="shape and fitness" src="http://www.shapewear360.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/12.gif" alt="shape and fitness" width="132" height="200" /></a>Reaching a healthy weight should not be about intense exercise and dieting for a few weeks or months.  It should be about maintaining a healthy life by eating well and remaining active throughout life.  You do not need to starve yourself or exercise your life away to be healthy.  In fact, you do not even need to be a teeny tiny size to be healthy and fit.  If you make healthful choices throughout life, the pounds on the scale are not that much of a worry (within reason of course).</p>
<p>Create a menu of well balanced meals at the beginning of each month.  Remember to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables.  If you are picky about the fruits and vegetables that you eat, stock up on all the types that are your favorite.  Limit the amount of fatty foods you eat.  Fill up on chicken and fish (if you have no allergies to seafood).  Do not eat too much red meat and when you do purchase lean meat packages.</p>
<p>Try to take the time to eat at home as often as possible.  Take a Sunday afternoon to prepare some meals ahead.  Hearty and healthy soups make an excellent option for food that can be stored to eat later in the week.  Do not eat at fast food restaurants unless you are going to select from low fat, low sodium meals on the menu.  Pass up the high calories dressing if you buy a salad.  Avoid preparing highly processed foods when you are in a rush to prepare a meal at home.</p>
<p>Do not eat too many unhealthy snacks.  The occasional chip or piece of birthday cake is not going to hurt you.  Don’t make treats like those an everyday habit.  Snack on healthy foods like wheat crackers, carrots sticks and pretzels.  There are many foods that can curb the munchies without packing on the pounds.</p>
<p>Be active even if you are not an exercise guru.  You do not need to be an exercise fanatic to be healthy and fit.  It is not necessary to spend hours at the gym.  If you enjoy jogging or walking, you have already found an exercise that does not cost a dime.  You can walk or jog for 30 minutes (more if you want) a day, 3-4 times per week.  Remember to stretch and warm up before setting out for your walk or jog.  You should stretch to cool down at the end of your walk/run as well.</p>
<p>Purchase a couple aerobics videos.  There is no need to pay to join an aerobics class at a local gym or recreation center.  You can follow along to the videos at your own convenience.  You can exercise in the morning before work or in the evening after your day is through.  It is easy to keep pace with most aerobics video.</p>
<p>You can even perform strength training from home.  As a woman, you do not need a weight bench or heavy weights in order to tone your muscles and increase your strength.  You can purchase strength training bands at the sports department of your local department store or Super Center store.</p>
<p>Make it fun to be active.  Dance to your favorite music when you are at home.  If you have kids, get outside to run around with them.  Play catch while hanging out in the backyard.  Go to the park to play some sports. There are numerous way to get active without slaving at a gym.</p>
<p>Live a healthy life and set a good example for your family and friends.  Look great, feel great and be healthy throughout your life.</p>
