I guess the answer would be based on who you are. If you are Jane Doe that simply wants to look slimmer on a night on the town, then yes, it is worth the occasional faux paux to look slimmer.
Now on the other hand if you are a famous actress and you know people will be taking photos of your every move. Even when you get out of the car. Do you really want to risk flashing your secret weapon for a photo? I think not. The photo says it all. Spanx are not meant to be seen, so please hide them.
Next… I am not sure what the actress in the dress is thinking with this look. Maybe she forgot she has shapewear leggings on and she just changed out of some tight trousers. Maybe she has poor circulation and she wears them for support. Who knows, but this look doesn’t work. She might be able to pull off this look with regular leggings, but not Spanx Footless Shapewear Pantyhose. C’mon. Please hide your Spanx. There is a reason they are called a girls “secret weapon”. Keep them secret.

Nice to see that even famous people have the same problems that I do. It’s pretty funny that these women do not even need the shapewear.
